WAZA FLO U10 and U12 Boys Go Undefeated for Winter Session 1

February 5, 2008 - Congratulations to the WAZA FLO U10 and U12 Gold Boys teams as they completed undefeated seasons during Winter Session 1 at The Field.

Playing in a very competitive league, the U10 team took first place honors with a 10-0-0 record. They displayed a lot of heart by playing tough in some close games during the final weeks of league play. The team continues to show brilliant skill with accurate passing and the ability to score goals. They will be playing in the U12 age bracket during Winter Session 2. The team is coached by LaMarr Peters and Fernando Gualtieri while Julie Gualtieri serves as team manager.

The U12 Gold team took first place honors with an 11-0-0 record. Most of their games were one-sided as they thoroughly out-played all of their opponents. Because of their strong play, the team is now competing in the U14 age bracket for Winter Session 2 at The Field. They are off to a great start with a 3-0-0 record. They continue to work hard in practice by playing small-sided games and learning more about the tactical side of the game. The team is coached by LaMarr Peters, Fernando Gualtieri and Mark Emley while Lynn Baird serves as team manager.

Great job by all the boys on both teams!
