Waza FLO U13 Boys Win 2009 U13 Legends of Summer Tournament

6.11.09: The WAZA FLO under-13 boys soccer team won the 2009 U13 Legends of Summer Tournament held at the National Soccer Hall of Fame in Oneonta, NY on June 6-7. They never trailed the competition, went undefeated the entire tournament, and allowed only a single goal scored on a penalty kick.

The two day tournament consisted of fabulous competition from Central NY, Albany and New.Jersey. The team as a whole played tremendously consistent soccer on all aspects of the field, from goalkeeping through defense and mid-fielders up to the forwards. The team consists of players from Lansing, Ithaca, Dryden and Cortland. The team is coached by LaMarr Peters and assistant coaches Fernando Gualtieri and Steve Axtell.
