WAZA Philosophy
“Waza” is Japanese word that means technique. Waza is a new approach to youth soccer training in central NY that encourages a balanced way of living with others through the love of the game. Combining fitness training, tactical and skills development, martial arts, the power of positive thinking, and knowledge of the game, we develop young players who want to compete at the highest levels.
The WAZA FLO philosophy is based on the concept of inclusion, opportunity and perseverance. WAZA club members are expected to exude a willingness to accept challenges presented in attaining individual and team success. While the WAZA player develops their soccer experiences on the field, windows of personal insight are revealed through spirited training and appropriate levels of competition. These nurtured soccer experiences help guide the WAZA player throughout their daily lives.
