Formerly known as the Vipers, LaMarr Peters began coaching the team three years ago. The boys loved it, decided to become a waza team, and voted to change their name to the Waza Phoenix.

The team is currently made up of boys from Lansing, Newfield, Horseheads, Trumansburg, South Seneca, and Ithaca. In the past we have also had players from Dryden and Watkins Glen. The geographic diversity of the players promotes a unity and sportsmanship throughout the year as they also follow and support one another in their respective school soccer games.

There may be openings for winter 2008/2009. Send an email to the manager if you would like to be contacted; the winter team starts forming in September.
